My Direct Debit has been cancelled – what do I need to do?

There are a number of reasons a Direct Debit might cancel.

If we have cancelled your payment plan (for example, because instalments weren't received by the due dates) we will write to tell you this and we will stop taking your Direct Debit payments at the same time. If your payment plan hasn't cancelled and you haven't cancelled your Direct Debit with us, your bank should be able to tell you the reason why your Direct Debit has been cancelled.

Depending on why your instruction was cancelled, you may be able to set up your Direct Debit again online or take a look at ways to pay to find an alternative payment method.
