Listening to you

We think water is fascinating. And it turns out many of you think so too.

It’s important for us to listen to customers, and act on what they tell us. It helps us to plan and set our priorities – both today and for the future.

Like all water companies, we need to make long-term plans for our water and wastewater operations. We share these plans, not only with customers but with other bodies like our regulators, and local and national government.

So, when you tell us what you think, you’re making a real difference.

We want to hear from you

If you're a customer of ours, we’d love to know what you think. We’ve got a wide range of customers, with around 87,000 water and 22,000 waste customers in Powys, Wrexham and parts of Flintshire, Denbighshire, and Montgomeryshire. And you're all different, with different needs and opinions.

Some of you might live in areas where we’re building one of our projects. Or you might be interested in how we’re working to protect your local environment. Perhaps you have special circumstances that mean you need more help.

You might not yet be a Hafren Dyfrdwy bill payer yet. We like to hear from our ‘customers of the future’ too and include them in many of our research projects.

How you can help

Hafren Dyfrdwy carries out research, using independent market research agencies to gather views on different topics. If you’re approached by one of these agencies, you can check they’re working with Hafren Dyfrdwy by emailing us.

We want our customers to challenge us and hold us to account on everything from our service and infrastructure to projects that give back to our communities and environment. And of course, we listen and do everything we can to ensure we put these asks into tangible actions. But often these asks aren’t straightforward, they come with complex challenges which mean we need longer-term solutions. We also want to ensure we spend our customers money on the things that are going to make the biggest impact on our service, communities, and environment for the benefit of our customers. So, whilst we do our upmost best to action all feedback, we can’t guarantee it.

Research findings should always be considered alongside a wider evidence base, which can include research conducted by others, and the external context at the time, as well as taking into account how the research was conducted.
