Hafren Dyfrdwy reminds customers of support available
Monday 26th October 2020
Hafren Dyfrdwy is reminding customers about its Priority Services Register and the financial support that’s available to them.
The water and waste company in Wales wants customers to know how it can help, especially those where circumstances may have changed and need a little extra support.
Alexandra Downes from Hafren Dyfrdwy said: “We know that these are still really challenging times for our customers, especially now with Wales announcing the firebreak lockdown and the pandemic continuing. We know that many people may be struggling and need a little extra care, so we really want to make sure that anyone who could benefit from our support, knows that we’re here to help.
“We have lots of financial support for those who may now find themselves in different circumstances, and we can even register those who may benefit to be on to our Priority Services Register so you can get the additional services you need.”
Hafren Dyfrdwy has various financial support available for its customers, including WaterSure, for customers on low income but have to use a lot of water, and Here2Help, where customers could get up to 90% off their bill.Payment plans are also available to help customers paying their bills more manageable
The company also encourages customers to sign up to its Priority Services Register, if they feel they would benefit from a more personalised service. The register helps identify any vulnerable customers or those with medical conditions, and offers a wide range of support.
The register also helps anyone who would benefit from having their bills in a different format, such as braille, or a different language, so they can receive a better, tailored service.
“Whether it’s help financially, or if you need a bit of extra support, we’ve got lots of options available,” adds Alexandra. “It’s still as important as ever to look out for one another, so even if you don’t need any extra support, if you have friends, family or a neighbour who’s life could be made a little easier, let them know about what help we have available, as we’d love to help.”
